Building a world where people without religion can live happily — without it.

Worldwide, 1.9 billion people live unaffiliated — nearly one in four. In Japan it is already the majority: 57% are religiously unaffiliated. Yet the things religion carried — a place to belong, a way through death, a reason to gather — have hardly been rebuilt without it. NowHere is not an argument with religion. It is the quiet work of building the replacement.

Your light, on the night Earth.

Light yours, and you become one light on the map. And when someone lights the map through your invite, their light is counted as continuing from yours. Further ahead, the plan is to record this chain of invitations on a blockchain, and to grow the project itself into a DAO — a decentralized autonomous organization.

The biggest obstacle for people without religion is not the absence of belief. It is the absence of a form to use when death arrives.

So we are building that practical guide, as the map of life.
